Analytical Rubric to assess class presentation on Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal

1.Language Use

Uses very clear and formal language with proper enunciation, pronunciation and audibility.

Uses clear and formal language with proper fluency.

Uses moderate language with fair fluency.

The language is unclear and hard to understand.

The language use is not well structured and the pronunciation is poor with no clarity with the mix of other languages

2. Creativity and Engagement

The charts are well prepared and creatively displayed with good colour combination. The presenter grabs the attention of the class while presenting.

The charts used for presentation are made nicely with good engagement skills.

The charts are fairly good and is able to engage classroom.

The charts are not well displayed and is not able to manage the classroom while presenting.

There are no usage of charts and the presenters are not prepared to engage the classroom.

3. Time Management

The presenter completes within the allotted time.

The presenter completes 2 minutes before/after from the given time.

The presenter takes 5 minutes less/extra from the allotted time.

The presenter takes 10 mins late/early ftom the given time

The presenter takes 20 mins late/early from the given time.

4. Introduction to early life

Captures the early life including his parents,birth year,prophecies and hios childhood name.

Captures his parents name and year but not prophecies.

Captures his parents name but not the year. And propheciess.

No inclusion of early life.

5.contributions

 

Perfectly captures his contributions as in dzongs and laws.

Captures the building of dzongs but not the laws

Reflection on Unit V: Item Analysis and Standardization of Scores Unit V allowed me to view assessment from a much more critical and analytical standpoint. Previously, I only experienced tests from the perspective of a test-taker, but learning about item analysis and the reasoning behind evaluating test questions helped me understand assessment as a systematic, scientific, and evidence-based process. Gaining insight into the concept and purpose of item analysis, particularly through Item Response Theory (IRT), showed me how individual test items are evaluated based on their level of difficulty, ability to discriminate, and overall reliability.
